Hydration helps young players perform and recover better, especially during intense training or hot game days. While water is essential, Gatorade provides the electrolytes and carbohydrates needed to replace what’s lost in sweat and keep athletes going strong.

When you sweat, you lose critical electrolytes, like sodium and potassium, which help the brain communicate with muscles and regulate fluid level balance throughout the body. Significant losses in fluids and electrolytes can negatively impact performance, especially during long bouts of training.
Start the day with water, and make sure fluids are available before, during, and after physical activity. For longer sessions or hotter days, Gatorade helps replace what’s lost in sweat to keep performance levels high. In addition to helping replenish the electrolytes lost in sweat, GTQ provides carbohydrates to refuel, so you can perform longer and stronger.
Remember: if a player feels thirsty, they’re already behind on hydration. Encourage small sips throughout the day, especially during warm-ups and halftime. And after the game, rehydrate and recover.
